The Australian Tax Office (ATO) has temporarily suspended payment of super co-contribution payments relating to the 2008/2009 financial year. Please note however, that if your payment has been delayed, you do not need to do anything. Interest will be paid as an additional super co-contributions amount where payment has been delayed for more than 60 days.

The ATO expects to return to making payments in April 2010.

If you would like to check whether your co-contribution payment has gone through you can do so by signing in to your member account and selecting the 'Contributions' section. Any co-contribution payments received will be shown on the 'history' page for your after-tax voluntary contributions.

For more information, please contact the ATO directly on 13 10 20 or visit http://www.ato.gov.au.
